I can’t believe the year is over – which means The 52 Week Illustration Challenge founded by Tania McCartney is also over! It has been a great challenge to be part of and I have created over 52 illustrations that certainly wouldn’t have existed had I not participated. We are in April already, so here are two more entries for Tania Mccartney’s 52 week Illustration Challenge: Week 13 – Water I had initially started this weeks theme on watercolour paper with watercolour paint, tissue paper and pastels. But the end result wasn’t what I had in mind. I like the shape of the humpback whales but the background/sea hasn’t worked. So I wanted to see what I could do to improve it by working on the illustration in Adobe Illustrator. I converted it by using image trace (16 colours option) and I liked the effect. Collage for class project
For those of you that don’t know I also write another blog called Learning Activities. It is aimed at parents and preschool/ school teachers displaying lots of crafty ideas.
